Our sweetheart is 4!! On her special day, Hailey woke up to streamers on her door, presents on the table, and a yummy pancake and omelette breakfast. We let her do 1 candle on her pancake stack which she blew as hard as she possibly could and still couldnt get it out. Poor thing! Then she opened a few presents and one that wasnt wrapped was a new bike! Thanks Baba and Papa for the Brave Horse and Doll. She absolutely loves it!
For the afternoon, Hailey rode her brand new bike, had a special lunch date with Dad, and then went shopping with Mom to use the kohls gift card she received from "GG". She picked out a new baby doll and pajamas which included a mini matching pajama outfit for her baby. She also opened a fun card from Grandma and Grandpa Pete which had $ that she used towards the new helmet. Perfect! Grandparents (and Great Grandparents) are the best! :)
Hailey's cake was simple. She takes after her mother. That means no cake at all :) For a while she was raving about having a "My Little Pony" birthday so I was planning on attempting to make a layered rainbow cake... luckily a few days before her birthday Hailey proudly announced she just wanted an ice cream sundae with a cherry on top! I said Great! Awesome! You got it. She got her sundae just the way she wanted it. Pink, brown, and white icecream with bananas, syrup, sprinkles and a cherry on top. Happy Birthday sweet girl. You are so loved. Life's a whole lot sweeter with you in it.
